libdaemon0-dbg software package provides lightweight C library for daemons - debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdaemon0-dbg
libdaemon0-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdaemon0-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdaemon0-dbg *
You will get with libdaemon0-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
